Support Staff
Shared Services Staff
Education South West also has a highly effective Shared Services team which supports schools, enabling teachers and leaders to concentrate on the core business of the trust: supporting and challenging children to be able to lead great lives.
Every member of our staff is valued equally and works collaboratively to contribute something extraordinary to support the teaching and learning for the young people we serve.
We look for dedicated professionals to deliver the shared services aspects to support our schools in the areas of Finance, IT, Facilities and Compliance, Catering, Business Administration and Data teams. To understand more about how these teams operate, take a look at the shared services section, including the biographies of the key leaders.
Education South West has so much to offer those with the determination, dedication, and devotion to improving education standards, whether as a teacher, classroom based professional or support member of staff enabling the magic to happen. Your commitment will be rewarded as we help you develop your skills with a range of CPD and personal development programmes.
When recruiting staff to work in the shared services teams for our schools we place great importance on:
- a desire to ensure that everything that is done within schools is the very best it can be
- a willingness to go the extra mile for the schools we support
- a firm commitment to the philosophy that we work in education to improve young people’s lives and improve society; we serve our communities and the wider populace
- good interpersonal skills
- a sense of humour
- a commitment to working for ESW
