The Kingswear Primary School Adventurers were off to Torquay Museum today for a closer inspection of a mummy and to get some “hands on” insights into life in Ancient Egypt. Each group visited the Explorers Gallery and then took part in activities, such as creating a clay scarab beetle and using reeds to write hieroglyphics on “papyrus.”

It was an amazing experience for everyone.
