Lauren has had an incredible season in athletics. Following two qualification rounds she competed in Birmingham on Friday 30th June and Saturday 1st July in the English Schools Devon Team as part of the ESSA Track & Field Cup. This is the highest standard that students can possibly get to in school athletics.

She finished 11th in the Long Jump final and was the highest Devon finisher. She also ran the 1st leg of the mixed relay.

In addition to this she also competed in the Regional Combined Events, finishing 5th and again the top Devon girl. This puts her through to the finals in Bedford on Sunday 17th.

We could not be more proud of Lauren and feel very privileged that she not only represents Teign School but Devon as well which is a phenomenal achievement.
