Rydon Primary School’s Year 6 Residential
Over the last couple of days, the children have been having great fun challenging themselves in several different activities. They have been climbing ladders, ropes and trees in the high ropes, pushing themselves to go one step further. They have been building teamwork skills on the low adventure course, helping each other across many different obstacles and getting very muddy before scrambling under bridges and going down slides in the stream. They have been learning bush craft skills and there were many happy faces as they roasted marshmallows! They have also made huge gains in accuracy, while taking part in archery.
Despite the slightly soggy weather there has been lots of fun, laughter and encouragement from them all.
