National Rowing
4 rowers form Kingsbridge and Dartmouth competed at the National Junior Rowing Championships in Nottingham last weekend, representing the West of England.
Getting to the championships is a huge achievement as they are a newly formed quad (less than 10 months together) with a new cox. In spite of the seriousness of the occasion they all had great fun and made the most of the opportunity. Although they didn’t win, they made great progress in their second race, after a dodgy (windy) start, finishing three seconds after the boat in front of them.
Before they all got on the water they could see Team GB training right in front of them – a fantastic experience and a great experience.
