Our very own Mrs O was lucky enough to win a children’s book in a competition held by National Numeracy recently and this will take pride of place in our school library at Kingswear Primary School. The book – a lift the flap book about money – was written by Lara Bryan, beautifully illustrated by Marie-Eve Tremblay and has expert advice from the lovely Bobby Seagull, teacher, broadcaster and Maths literacy campaigner.

The children certainly enjoyed their first look at it today at lunchtime and we would like to say a big “Thank You” to National Numeracy! Look out for more advice and help with numbers on National Numeracy Day – 17th May via their website.
