Message from the CEO
Dear All Staff,
As you are aware, the government has announced a 27 day lockdown from midnight on Thursday morning. People are permitted to travel for education or employment but only if you cannot work from home. Schools will remain open during this time operating under the risk assessments which have been in place since school is open fully in September. These are constantly reviewed.
Education South West has been supportive of working from home where this is possible for staff and will continue to be so. Please talk to your headteacher or shared services manager.
This continues to be a very unusual time for all of us. I can only reiterate the comments I have made about how proud I am of the way the staff in ESW have responded.
As always please do not hesitate to get in touch with your headteacher or shared services manager, or indeed me, Tracy or Stuart, should you wish to at any point in time. We are all here to support one another and must continue to do this. Our two priorities remain: ensuring that our community of staff and students are safe; that we are able to deliver an educational experience as close to ‘normal’ in as possible for the children and communities we serve.
Best wishes, Matthew
