Kingswear Primary School had a visit from Kay, co-founder of the “Letters to the Earth” campaign – a campaign that focuses on the importance of re-establishing a relationship with nature and life around us by bringing it back in balance.

The children were previously asked to write their own letters to the Earth, and some pupils had also worked alongside Devon Wildlife Trust as Wildlife Champions on this project, describing the things that they love about the world and wish to protect in the future. The letters were then compiled into a book and a copy was presented to the children who had contributed their work. Extra copies were also kindly donated to the school library.
