Every year the Royal Society of Chemistry runs a national competition for all A Level Chemistry students in the UK, and this year three of Kingsbridge Community College’s Year 12 students have achieved success: Milo Clover received a Silver Award, Mimi Matson and another student each received a Bronze.

The Chemistry Olympiad is designed to be challenging and includes Chemistry well beyond the syllabus we cover in class, so for Year 12 students to win awards is a phenomenal achievement, especially as they had only been studying A Level Chemistry for one term when they sat the 2-hour paper.
