Every child is an artist at Dartmouth Academy
In Early Years we have had a very busy week and as such I am sure you have noticed how tired your children are! The children are all doing so well learning the new routines and expectations in school.
Last week we have drawn around ourselves, thought about different parts of our bodies, learned some new songs, drawn our portraits, measure how tall we are, explored the Forest School and closely looked at the sunflower heads to draw them with charcoal.
In reception we have learned the sounds m, a, s, d, t, and i. Please see the separate post about how to help your child at home with practising the sounds and writing the letters.
In number we have learned how to subtitise numbers to 5.
This week, our focus will be… our senses!
