Strete Gate Woods was the location for our first trip of the school year this week with some outdoor activities led by the wonderful team at the FSC Slapton Ley Field Centre.

The children found different coloured items in nature to match their colour cards, made a fairy house with natural objects, listened carefully to the sounds in the woods and also found out which items float and sink in water. We then enjoyed our lunch in the woods and made it back to the bus just before the rain came.

On the way back to school we were lucky enough to see the most wonderful double rainbow!
