84 Primary students from Highweek and Bradley Barton arrived at Coombeshead Academy on Tuesday to take part in an Athletics Festival run by Miss Betty and Year 10 Leaders.

The athletes took part in fun activities based around javelin, shot putt and discuss throwing techniques as well as some work on their jumping skills, speed and agility skills and finally their endurance.

The sunshine and fun made for an excellent morning of all things athletics!

The Year 10 Leaders were excellent as always and look forward to the Year 4 festival in a couple of weeks.
