Creative Arts Alumni student Calum May visited Post 16 Graphics students today to talk about his creative journey today after leaving Coombeshead Academy.

Calum left us 8 years ago after studying Art & Design Graphics and English. He went on to complete a Foundation course at Exeter and then a degree in Illustration at Falmouth University.

Calum told students about his career journey into the world of Senior Creative Recruitment Consultant working with designers and agencies from global brands. His new role is now focussing on working with creatives in New York where he is looking to relocate in the future. Calum was able to give valuable career and portfolio advice to current students being able to open their eyes to the opportunities ahead of them.

Mr Eyre added ‘It was fantastic to see Calum and hear is journey after he completed his qualifications with us. We are hugely proud of him, and his achievements and it was a pleasure to have share his career story with our creative students.’
