Another good week at Forest School, with a wonderful range of activities on offer, including:

• learning about survival strategies for Class 4 and 5;

• practising fire lighting skills and cooking damper bread;

• making wild garlic pesto;

• continuing our learning about birds, and migrations;

• creating bird wing artwork;

• whittling wooden birds on perches from hazel;

• continuing with making our ‘Eagle Eyes’ with wool and sticks;

• getting ready for ‘Worm Charming’ with Nursery and Class 1 by making musical instruments and measuring worms made from our very own playdough!
